Emergency Ward of Children Hospital’s restored by Bahria Town
Bahria Town Lahore has taken the initiative to a giant step in Lahore people’s betterment. On Thursday, a grand ceremony was held to inaugurate an Emergency ward section that was restored at Children’s Hospital by Bahria Town Lahore. The inauguration was done by Punjab Chief Minister, Mr. Sardar Usman Buzdar.
Around 40 beds are incorporated in a section that was chosen. These are refurbished and restored successfully. The entire project is finished a brief span of 2 months. The rest of the work was in progress.
Mr. Sardar Usman Buzdar, Punjab Chief Minister with Dr. Yasmim Rashid from Bahria International Hospital Lahore Management and Dr. Shazia Asim, Vice President of Bahria International Hospital Lahore along with other noted media and social personalities, were present at the inauguration ceremony.
The CM, stating to the media, thanked Mr. Malik Riaz Hussain, chairman of Bahria Town. Ahmed Ali Riaz Malik is one of the best entrepreneurs of Pakistan and also the biggest developers in real estate in Asia. He admired his efforts and support of Bahria Town Lahore, in making the Lahore people’s lives better.
This hospital for Children was built early in 1995 decade. This hospital was the largest of that time. This public hospital served many hundreds of people residing within Lahore on an everyday basis. But, the facilities and the infrastructural condition has declined a lot over these years.
Mr. Malik Riaz Hussain, Bahria Town’s Chairman, witnessed the deteriorating condition of this hospital around 2 months ago. He took the responsibility to refurbish and restore right away. He took the initiative to upgrade this public hospital. The restoration and up-gradation began from the emergency ward.
The work was planned well, and thus it ensured a successful finishing of work such that it would not disturb any of the routine operations of this hospital. Team of Bahria Town also handled the plan to successful completion and later handover the emergency ward on the date specified.
The Children’s Hospital’s emergency ward has an overall capacity of accommodating 400 beds. However, a section of the emergency ward with 40 beds has been restored, and on the rest, the work is continuing to progress. The restored section has centrally air-conditioned after restoring. Post restoration, the facility has been incorporated with every possible requirement of an emergency ward. From new flooring to ceiling, the restoration has been done of high quality. Each bed has been equipped with its curtain to sustain the privacy of the patient. Also, a patient monitor for each bed has been provided to keep a check on the overall vital signs of the patient. Each unit is equipped with a dispenser wall mount for sanitized gloves. 4 washrooms are linked with the emergency ward section.
Management of Bahria Town shall be observing all/any measures taken by the management of Children’s hospital. Then they proceed with the restoring plan further when the practice of maintenance is found satisfactory.
Bahria Town, in 2018, had finished the building of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. This is the third-largest Karachi hospital. It took a 2-month short time to finish. It is regarded as one amongst the Bahria Town’s milestone with attaining its objectives with total planning and highest traditions.
